Leaves my Feet Toasty Socks
These socks will “leave” your feet toasty and warm on chilly spring mornings and evenings! They were designed to use up leftover bits of similar colored yarns as the contrast colors. A note in the pattern will indicate where the CC was changed for the sample pair.
This pattern was designed to be knit on 2 circular knitting needles for ease in cabling. The slipped stitches pull the fabric in slightly and make it less stretchy than stockinette st. The leaves incorporate increases and decreases, so your stitch count will change throughout the charts.
A cable needle is needed unless you prefer to cable by slipping the stitches off the left needle and rearranging them without a cable needle.
The pattern and charts are for a size adult medium with a stitch count that decreases from 72-sts on the leg to 68-sts for the foot.
The designer used 221 yds/48g MC, 74yds/16g CC1, 35yds/8g CC2, and 46yds/12g CC3 for a pair of socks with a 9” long foot.
