Inspired by Old Scottish lore that tells tales of mothers hanging birch leaves over their children’s beds at night to prevent nightmares and visits from mischievous fairies while they slept, this beautiful blanket is slightly easier to craft than some of the featured projects, yet the slipped stitch technique lends a beautiful detail to what will become a treasured piece.
