Leaving Sideways
An asymmetric triangular shawl with a body of garter stitches and an elegant border of undulating leaves.
This pattern is perfect for using two or more colours, but it’s also stunning single-coloured.
The shawl is worked from one side to the other, starting with only one leaf and adding more and more of the garter body.
This way its size is adjustable.
We recommend fingering weight yarns: 400-500m/100g
Needle size 4 mm / US 6
Two skeins of fingering weight yarn are enough for a large shawl.
Pictures show the shawl in DyeForYarn Fingering/Tussah silk (silver+teal) and DyeForYarn Fingering/Merino/Babycamel (black and blue).
