Original instructions call for size 60 crochet thread and “Stahlstricknadeln Nr. 8/0”, a steel knitting needle 2mm, for a finished size 30 cm in diameter.

This Leberblümchen pattern is different from the oval one found in Kunststricken: Große und kleine Decken.

Note: There are two designers listed for Beyer Band 711: Herbert Niebling and Marianne Vitt. Please see this forum post for an explanation of why Marianne Vitt is the presumed designer of this pattern.
