This is a pattern for a small patch: a gingerbread (Lebkuchen) embroidered with traditional frosting.

Using the recommended yarn and hook will result in a Lebkuchen measuring about 4cm x 5cm. Gauge does not really apply, you can always use a different yarn and hook and get a bigger a smaller result.

You will need only small amounts of yarn of four colours: brown, white, green and red.
