This is a written pattern for a knitted pair of lederhosen and gingham blouse for a dog (or cat or other four legged friend!). Both the legs and the arms are knitted separately and attached raglan-style for a very comfortable fit. There is no coverage on the crotch or lower belly to allow breathability and so the dog can do their business without interruption.

The pattern has been adjusted for multiple sizes - both prototypes have been made in a size medium for a Welsh Cardigan Corgi. I welcome feedback about the sizing as to the accuracy of this for smaller/larger dogs.

I would encourage you to use whatever DK you have around - most will be suitable. I used wool/acrylic blends for all of my colours.

For yarn, the pattern uses approx:

100g - lederhosen colour
50g - blouse colour 1 (white recommended)
75g - blouse colour 2
50g - blouse colour 3
25g - embroidery colour
