The very warm, intricately cabled pocket scarf, contains two distinct cable stitches. The focal cable is a broad interesting cable, while the side cables (also used in the pockets) are thinner and more delicate. Together, they make a warm and cozy pocket scarf.
This fun scarf can be worn in the fall instead of a jacket or a very warm scarf over a winter coat in the dead of winter.
The patch pockets ensure that the scarf will stay exactly how you want it.
Both stitches are both charted and written out line by line for this pattern.
Skill Level: Intermediate - Intermediate (assuming a very good working knowledge of cabling .)
There are instructions contained within the pattern for a standard rectangular scarf as well as a turtleneck scarf. There are also instructions for an optional crocheted border, should you want it edged.
Further, the pattern contains instructions for making it narrower and more traditional: true customization.
The scarf was expertly test knitted Rachel McKinney (a.k.a. 100creations) who can be contacted at: 100creations @gmail.com., and was knit using Lorna’s Laces worsted weight yarn in colorway, Chicago Blue.
