Located a mile or so from my house, Leek Lake is a very special place for my family. We enjoy swimming, fishing, and listening to the loons call to each other. We have even seen an eagle swoop down and catch a fish! So close to my heart, this lake deserves an homage in the form of a hat pattern!

Slouchy, simple and stylish, you can whip up this hat quickly with Quince & Co. Owl Tweet, or any worsted weight yarn of your choice. A seed stitch triangle motif morphs into arrows pointing up, with a single garter stitch running through the center of each arrow.

Hat is designed in one size, to fit 19 - 21” (48.5 - 53cm) head circumference.

Gauge is calculated in stickinette stitch, in the round, after blocking.

Materials needed:
Quince & Co. Owl Tweet (50% American wool/59% Alpaca), 120 yds(110m)/100g.
2 skeins
OR other worsted weight yarn.
1 16”(40cm) circular knitting needle or double pointed needles for small circumference knitting.

Skills needed: knitting, purling, knitting in the round.
