These are great for using up extra yarn you have laying around. Depending on your color choice they can be as subtle or as wild as you like. The pattern is sized for Child, Woman and Man, but you determine the final size when you felt them. Fairly easy, but takes some knowledge of sock knitting. Makes a great gift!
