Leftover Yarn Infinity Square Blanket
The Leftover Yarn Infinity Square Blanket is simple knit-stitch blanket worked in the round. Use up your leftover loop yarn end-to-end to make a full blanket with all your scraps!
SKILL LEVEL: Easy.
SUGGESTED MATERIALS: Leftover loop yarn! The example shown was made using Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ Yarn (6.4oz, 180g), approximately 72 yards. You can also knit this pattern with new yarn: 4 balls for a blanket this size.
SUGGESTED TOOLS: No needles required (finger knitting). Scissors.
FINISHED MEASUREMENTS: Approx. 36” by 42” (91.5 cm by 107 cm).
PLEASE NOTE: This pattern will work with any brand of loop yarn, but keep in mind that the size of the loops, and size of the balls/skeins of each brand is different.
Lion Brand Off-The-Hook, Lion Brand Crayola Off-The-Hook, Red Heart Loop-It, and Alize Puffy (European) yarns can all be used with this pattern, but will yield a blanket with smaller overall dimensions.
I do not recommend mixing Bernat Alize Blanket-EZ with other brands because of the difference in loop size - unless you add stitches as you go, it will wreck the shape of your blanket.
