Pattern includes lower segment at 10 inch diameter, upper segment at 20 inch diameter, and middle 11 inches as increases spread evenly. Upper segment includes one round with eyelets for a garter which should tie at the top of the lower leg. Overall length can be adjusted by adding or removing rounds in the upper and lower segments.

Made the pieces on DPN. Superbulky yarn and 10.5 needles gave gauge of 3 St/ inch and 4 rounds/ vertical inch. Increases aligned in the middle of each DPN easily. Very helpful to use a marker for the end of the round and move it up to each increase round. Can measure as needed to see that distance between increase rounds is achieved. Would be harder to complete on circular needles and would require many more markers. Had to be careful not to drop St off ends of needles after cramming 20 St of superbulky yarn on each DPN.
