Legging Sweater

For years, I’ve wanted to design a sweater! I’d stay up all hours of the night just thinking about all the different styles, stitches, and textures I could employ… Finally, I decided to go for it, and to include as many sizes as my brain could handle!

I designed my first knit sweater to be a top-down raglan (Thanks Chantal (@knitatude) for introducing me to this world of raglans!), that was loosey-goosey, and nice to wear with leggings. Perfect for dressing down for a binge-weekend of Game of Thrones, or a night out with your friends!

I hope you enjoy knitting this piece as much as I enjoyed designing it for you.

Highlights of this pattern:

• 8 different sizes including busts 32 - 60”, with 2.4” of positive ease (therefore up to 62.4” bust)
• 4 different sleeve styles: colour-block, wrist athletic-stripe, elbow athletic stripe, or solid
• 8 PDFs separated by size (no highlighting your size instructions!)
• Stitch count table supplied for round by round stitch counts

• Skein Estimates (Colour A/B): 4/2, 4/2, 5/2, 5/2, 5/2, 6/2, 6/2, 6/2
• Yardage Estimates (Colour A/B): 850 /  226, 945 /  240, 1000 / 255, 1060 / 270, 1165 / 295, 1300 / 325, 1385 / 355, 1450 / 370 yds
• Gauge: 4 sts x 7 rows = 1”
• Needles: 4.50mm Circulars - fixed or interchangable (9” (sleeve), 9 or 16” (collar), 24” (raglan), 36”+ (body). Cord length only suggested, based on knitter preference.)
• Other tools: Yarn Needle, Gauge ruler, Measuring tape, 4 Markers (varying colours), perhaps row-counting stitch markers if desired.
