About the Legwarmer Socks Pattern:
Legwarmers merged with socks have been something I’ve wanted for so long! I love pulling thick, wool socks up and over my leggings on a chilly day, and most hand knit socks just can’t do that. These socks fit well in any shoe, and the thick stitch used on the leg is extra cozy and warm to keep any chill out. The stitch is easy and they knit up surprisingly quick, especially because you just can’t wait to see how the colors might pool next! Grab a skein of fun, variegated sock yarn and two contrasting minis (if you want), and enjoy!

Yarn:
Wool Sock Yarn blended with 15%-25% of silk or nylon.

  • MC: 100 grams approx.
  • CC: 20 grams approx.

Recommended yarn:
Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Squishy Sock, or Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Coquette Sock.

Sample shown in Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Coquette Sock “Barbie & Ken” Colorway.

Note: Yarn amounts suggested for socks with an 6” leg and a maximum shoe size US Women’s 10. Larger feet, use 200 grams of MC.
