Leif the Leafy Sea Dragon
Akin to the seahorse, the sea dragon likes to hide among the leaves in the kelp bed. The appendages serve as camouflage in their native habitat along the Southern and Western coasts of Australia. Popularly known as “leafies”, the sea dragon is the marine emblem of the state of South Australia. They are fully mature at two years of age and grow to 18”. Leif is true to scale.
Instructions are included for both versions shown above.
As with all crochet patterns, a knowledge of basic stitches and the ability to increase and decrease is required. All Angelsun patterns use US abbreviations as set forth by Yarn Standards for publication. Please note that this varies from those used in the UK and possibly elsewhere.
