I originally designed this collar for my old friend who has the most colorful mind. As she always makes me feel colorful, I made colorful things to celebrate her baby boy including this collar. It’s a quick fun project in which you can play with small amounts of colorful leftover
yarns!

Required techniques:
knit, purl, cdd, M1L, ssk, k2tog, stranded colorwork, i-cord bind off (optional) etc

Sizes and Finished Measurements:
neck circumference: approx. 36cm / 14”
One size fits all, neck circumference is adjustable with snap buttons or straps.

Yarn:
Approximately 90 m / 98 yards of Sport weight yarn for MC
Approximately 20 m / 22 yards of Fingering weight yarn each for CC1, CC2 and CC3.

• MC: Saredo RE re Ly (100% recycled cotton, 280 m / 306 yards per 100 g) shade : S18 CHARCOAL - 30 g
• MC: KUMANO TESIGOTO KENKYUSHO hitsuji noito (100% Japanese wool, 250 m / 273 yards per 100 g) undyed, LOT : sora - 26 g

Gauge & Needles:
25 sts and 28 rows, using 3.25 mm / US3 needle, blocked = 10 cm / 4” in zigzag lace pattern.
circular needle in size 3.25 mm / US3 with cable length of at least 40 cm / 16’’ (or needle size to obtain gauge)

tapestry needle for weaving in ends
optional for side edging: spare cable & crochet hook

友人の赤ちゃんのためにデザインしたつけ襟。よだれかけとしても使えるし、ネックウォーマーにアレンジすることもできます。とてもカラフルで自由な心を持っていて、まわりの人の心もカラフルで自由にしてしまう彼女のことを考えて、色で遊べる楽しいデザインを考えました。少しの糸と少しの時間で気軽にできるので、いろんな色の糸を使って楽しんでもらえたら嬉しいです。

使う技法：
表編み、裏編み、中上3目一度、ねじり増し目、2色の編み込み、かけ目、左上2目一度、右上2目一度、i-cord（オプション）など

サイズと仕上がり寸法：
フリーサイズ（首周り36cm、襟7cm）

糸：
MC：Sport / 合太 程度の太さの糸 ー 約 90 m
CC1, CC2, CC3：Fingering / 中細 程度の太さの糸 ー 約20mずつ
