Lemniscate Tarot Pouch
I chose the Lemniscate (symbol of infinity) for this tarot bag because I think it is important for all tarot readers to remember that every action- good or bad- has consequences. The quality of the energy we send out into the world through our work will be returned to us.
This pattern uses a stranding technique for colorwork (fair isle knitting) to create the lemniscate symbol. Thus, this pattern is best suited to the ambitious advanced beginner or the intermediate knitter.
To make a wider bag: Add 6 extra stitches at a time to go one size up. (Three extra stitches on each edge, so you CO 27 sts instead of the 21 called for in the pattern).
To make a longer bag: Knit more rows
Many people despise acrylic yarn, so feel free to experiment with natural yarns as well. I had to use acrylic due to allergies :(
Please contact me if you have any questions, need any help, or find any mistakes, Thanks!
This pattern is intended for personal use only. If you would like to share this pattern, provide a link to the pattern page on my blog, and/or provide a link to this Ravelry page, Thanks! (It would be pretty ironic if you did anything underhanded with my pattern, don’t you think?) :P
I hope this pattern helps you create something beautiful and original!
