this simple sweater is quick and easy to make, creating 2 panels and sewing them together and then adding the sleeves.

you can have the 3m size done in 1 day (we did it so can you!)

the original pattern is made with Caron Simply Soft but when we decided to rework the pattern to fit 3m-24m we chose to use a different #4 weight yarn.

Lion Brand Basic Stitch
Lion Brand Basic Stitch is a soft squishy anti peeling yarn that works up like a dream in this pattern.

for size 3m we used 1 skein and very little of the next so we believe you can make the 24m in 3 skeins or under.

if you do not have the yarn recommended that’s okay, use any #4 weight yarn for this sweater and you should be fine.

this sweater is made to fit loose with a couple of inches of positive ease and the elbow-length sleeves are made to fit loose so your baby doesn’t feel strained or confined in his/her sweater.
