I love making this blanket, especially for shelter pets. It has a wonderful texture, which is just perfect for kitties to knead! With two strands of yarn it’s also a fairly “tight” stitch, which is great as well for the shelters. I like using two strands (whenever possible) so that I can create blankets with unusual color combinations. Two strands will make the blanket thick, unique and colorful … while also using whatever leftover yarn you have!
