Lemonade Mohair / Alpaca Sweater

A quick and easy knitting pattern for advanced beginners, with clear instructions, illustrations and tips.

Sweater is knitted bottom up on circular and straight needles.

Sweater is slightly cropped and oversized. There is a simple rib detail at the sides of sweater and at the top of the sleeves.

Available in one size only:
Large / UK 16 / US 12.

Tension:
16 stitches and 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm square in stocking stitch.

Chest: 61 cm
Length: 58 cm
Sleeve length to shoulder join: 45 cm
Sleeve depth at shoulder join: 22 cm
Sleeve cuff width: 10 cm
Neck opening width: 17 cm
Neck depth at front: 5 cm
Neck depth at back: 1 cm

Needles required:
7 mm circular needle – (60 cm length)
7 mm straight needles (25 or 30 cm length)
6 mm circular needle (40 cm length)
6 mm circular needle (60 cm length)
6 mm straight needles (25 or 30 cm length)

Sweater is knitted double strand throughout using:
Drops Air: Colour Lemonade No 40 – 7 balls (total 1050 m)
Drops Kid-Silk: Colour Lemonade No 52 – 5 balls (total 1050 m)
