Crescent shaped shawls are so pretty. The Lemonzest shawl is knitted with two yarns in fresh lemony colors, adding great textures with intermittent garter accents on a stockinette background. Knitted top down and ever increasing with an absolutely lovely lace pattern that repeats in the bottom border.

The blocked shawl measures 78” in length in the bottom lace border and 17” in middle height. The pattern is fully written and also offers a lace chart.

Yarn used here
C1 - a skein of Delicate, 220 yards in 3 colors of lace weight yarns, wound together thereby creating a sport weight to get the look as shown.
C2 - two skeins of Organic cotton, 125 yards each in a DK weight.

Notions needed
US size 5 (3.75 mm) circular needle 36”
(91 cm) in length.
Darning needle or crochet hook for finishing.

Gauge
15 sts and 24 rows in 4” of stockinette stitch with sport weight Delicate yarn.

Techniques applied
Knit, purl, increases, color changes, lace knitting, stretchy bind off, weave in ends and block for best results.
