This hat has a picot edge. I gave 3 needles sizes to help fit the hat to different size heads, or style! You must have a size 10.5 cir or use magic loop. The head band portion is where you will choose a larger or small needle.

Yarn choices: this hat will work with any single ply or twist ply bulky weight yarn.I would not use a boucle’ type yarn. Some knitters have been able to knit the hat in one skein of malabrigo mecha. I was not, I needed about 40 more yards. If you like a hat to really have a slouch you will need two skeins. Pattern is written with options.
