LENE Wrist warmers
The black pair of wrist warmers was a gift for my dear friend Lene. She needed a pair of wrist warmers while playing the flute. As a musician performing in the old, and often cold, Danish churches, her wrists and and hands need to be warm. The yarn is 100 % cashmere, and so soft. I have been rubbing the yarn in front of a movie on TV in order to determine if it fluffs. It mustn’t fluff! That’s what her old angora warmers did, and you can’t play with distracting fluff flying about the face. So the yarn was deemed fluff -free and Lene is very happy with her new wrist warmers.
Recently I made another pair in Mallard, you can see the pattern ‘Travelling Vine’ better on the photos of that pair.
Since it’s such a small project it also becomes affordable, you only need 1 oz!
The pattern is 2 pages with diagram and color photo.
Level: Intermediate. There are thumb gores but no fingers.
