Lennox Pullover
CONSTRUCTION
This loose, boxy pullover is worked through bottom-up, compound raglan construction. It features a lattice stitch pattern created through knitting into rounds or rows below the live stitches. The lattice stitch is worked primarily on the wrong side of the fabric, so this pattern features the unique characteristic of being worked inside out. Other features include long sleeves and a double folded neckline. If you are careful to finish the garment neatly, you will end up with a reversible sweater!
Bottom-up, compound raglan garments have varying rates of decrease along the raglan “seams” so that you can obtain a fit that more closer matches the body, especially for sizes where the bust is much larger than the neckline. Pay attention to the different sections within the raglan yoke.
The pattern begins with casting on the sleeves, worked simply through increasing the cuff near the wrist, then worked straight to the armholes. You can work the first sleeve as a swatch. The body is then cast on and worked in lattice stitch straight without shaping to the armholes. Once the sleeves and body are joined to work in the round, the yoke is shaped through varying rates of raglan decrease repeats, creating a yoke length and shape that works well in all nine sizes.
Although the lattice stitch pattern is simple and straightforward to work in the round, it becomes more complicated when raglan decreases are incorporated, and you will need your wits about you even more when the neckline is shaped and the garment is worked flat. Further, there are short rows along the sleeve sections to improve neckline fit.

NEEDLES
Ribbing: 3.5mm/US 4
Main: 4mm/US 6
Substitute with sizes required to obtain gauge if needed. If your gauge alters working in the round compared to flat, adjust accordingly.
CORDS
30 in/75 cm cord for working small circumference in magic loop and large circumference in regular circular knitting, or choose your preferred methods.
Increase cord length as needed. You may need up to an 80 inch/200 cm cord for working the largest sized yoke at its widest circumference.
