As a budding tween girl in the early 1990s, I was obsessed with the 1993 film The Secret Garden. I wanted nothing more than to don a pompom hat like Mary Lennox and slip through a hidden door to magical place all my own. Of course, I didn’t have a tam and the closest thing I had to a secret garden was the boring backyard I shared with my siblings. But now, armed with a crochet hook and a ball of yarn, I made my own Lennox Tam and you can too! This piece works up quickly in joined rounds and will keep your head warm during your adventures.
