WORKED FROM THE TOP DOWN IN ONE PIECE
This cute sweater is both practical and classic and would be suitable for everyday wear. The sweater is worked top down (no seaming) with a simple edging at the hemline and cuffs. A quick knit that is sure to please.

Sweater Sizes: A 0-6 months, B 1 year, C 2 years, D 3-4 years, E 5-6 years, F 7-8 years

YARN REQUIREMENTS
Double Knit, 8ply, Light worsted, any brand as long as you achieve the same tension as the pattern. The pictured sweater was knitted in Bellissimo 8 - 100% Merino Extra-fine yarn, Colour Suede. 125 m / 137 yds per 50 g ball.

A -- 130 g, 325 m / 355 yds
B -- 160 g, 400 m / 440 yds
C -- 195 g, 490 m / 535 yds
D -- 215 g, 540 m / 590 yds
E -- 255 g, 640 m / 700 yds

NEEDLES REQUIRED
One pair 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) circular needles, 40 cm (16 in) and 60 cm (24 in) long
One set of double pointed 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles, or size needle to obtain tension.

OTHER MATERIALS
4 stitch markers, 1 to be in a contrast colour.
Darning needle to sew in ends

TENSION
22 sts x 40 rounds = 10 cm (4 in) worked in garter stitch/ridge pattern on 3.75 mm (US 5 : UK 9) needles.
