Een mystery sok om de lente in te luiden….

Dit wordt een lente sok,
met bloemetjes en blaadjes
van kant en kabels.

Het is in 5 delen gesplitst en wordt op de volgende datums gepubliceerd:
Deel 1: maandag 2 april rond de middag
Deel 2: vrijdag 6 april
Controleer de maat na de 16e toer of ze nog passen, en ga zo nodig een naald of hele maat groter als de kabels te strak zijn.
Maat L heeft erg klein foutje, het moet zijn: r1, av2, r2, av2, r11
Deel 3: donderdag 12 april
Teltekening B, maat L: de kabels staan verkeerd om. Ze moeten juist doorlopen met de kabels van de been mee.
Geschreven chart B: de averechte rijen zijn ook verkeerd om. Ze moeten recht waar averecht staat en andersom averecht waar recht staat. Sorry voor de verwarring
Teltekening C, rij 9, steek 35 moet eigenlijk averechts zijn (maten

Gebruik een fleurige multikleur skein om vrolijke sokken te krijgen, met een effen contrast kleur, of juist andersom. Of allebei.

Van de contrast kleur heb je niet veel nodig, hooguit 13-15 meter.

We are going to host a knit-a-long in the Dutch Sock knitters group. But feel free to join us, if there are enough knitters I can probably get an English chatter thread started there.

A mystery sock to ring in the spring… This is a sock with a story; flowers and leaves in lace and cables.

What will you need? 420 meter sock yarn for the main colour. Choose a fun colourful spring yarn to make these more exciting.
• 14-15 meter sock yarn in a contrast colour
• 2.75 & 2.5 mm sock needles and a matching cable needle
Size: S (60 sts), M (66 sts) & L (72 sts)

Gauge: In pattern: 32 sts & 42 rows = 10 x 10 cm. (unblocked)
Stockinette: 30 sts & 40 rows= 10 x 10 cm. (unblocked)

The pattern is split into 5 separate parts and will be published on the following dates:
Part 1: Monday, April 2
Correction: the English pattern has round 23 down as r… that should say knit
Part 2: Friday, April 6
Check to see that your cuff fits before starting part 2, and otherwise go up a needle size. The cables seem to be making the socks tighter than I thought. Check the size again after doing about 16 rounds to make sure they still fit.
size L has a small mistake, it should say: k1, p2, k2, p2, k11
Part 3: Thursday, April 12
The stitches on the heel flap continue through from the leg, so when knitting back and forth you’ll be doing stockinette and not garter stitch.
Chart B, size L: the cables are switched, they should be the same direction as the cables on the leg!
Chart B, size L: the written pattern had the chart written out as if it were knit in the round instead of back and forth. This means that on the wrong sides the knit sts need to be purled and the purled sts need to be knit. So sorry for this mistake
Chart C, row 9, stitch 35 should be a purl (This is only for sizes M & L)
Part 4: Tuesday, April 17
Part 5: Monday, April 23
