Leopard crochet pattern

This measures about 10cm high (plus tail) and 22cm in length, when made with double knit yarn or about 15cm high (plus tail) and 32cm in length, when made with aran yarn. When I make this leopard I use the Stone, Camel and Black shades of Stylecraft yarn.

Materials

For the smaller size animal:
3.5 mm hook (US E hook)
Approx 10g dark double knit weight yarn
Approx 15g medium double knit weight yarn
Approx 10g light double knit weight yarn
Small amounts of black and blue yarn for details
Stuffing

For the larger size animal:
5 mm hook (US H hook)
Approx 20g dark aran weight yarn
Approx 25g medium aran yarn
Approx 20g light aran weight yarn
Small amounts of black and blue yarn for details

• chain
• slip stitch
• single crochet / double crochet
• single crochet decrease / double crochet decrease
• single crochet increase / double crochet increase
• half double crochet / half treble crochet
• working in the back loop
