Lepus Love
Lepus is the genus for hares, as well as the name of a constellation resembling the aforementioned critter. I thought it would be so sweet to wear two pairs of hares!
As written, this pattern is for a top down pair of socks with a standard eye-of-partridge gusset heel, a standard wedge toe, and an optional eye-of-partridge wedge toe.
Instructions/charts are included for a 68 st, 72 st, and 76 st sock- pattern modifications are suggested if you need to knit the socks with a lesser stitch count.
The pattern sample, knit for a size US 9 (EUR 39) foot, took up 30 grams each of the main color and contrast color yarn.
