Leryne is a big, slightly asymmetriclal, triangular shawl, knit entirely in garter stitch. It has a wavy play of colors, created using short rows.

You start with the long side of the shawl and work decreases as you proceed.

The pattern is long, but it easy, too. You’ll soon understand how everything works and you’ll be able to work variations, if you like to, like adding a third color or working more or less rows in certain colors. If you want a shawl that’s a little bit shorter you can decide to work more decreases in the last third of rows. You don’t have to worry about making mistakes – this pattern is not strict. You can follow the instructions step by step, but at the same time it gives you the freedom to bring in your own preferences.
