These simple mitts are knit in the round from the bottom up and feature a traditional thumb gusset.

The mitts will stretch to accommodate a variety of hand sizes. But if needed, the pattern is easily adjustable for larger or smaller hands simply by adjusting the yarn weight and needles. For a smaller size, change to a sport weight yarn and a size 4 (3.5 mm needle); for larger, knit mitts in a light worsted yarn on a size 6 (4 mm) needle.
