Les Cloches Cannelées
Les Cloches Cannelées is a long, drapey fashion scarf. The word “cloche” means “bell” in French and describes the shape of the ends of the scarf and “cannelées” means “fluted”, to describe the ruching.
LCC, for short, is worked in two different yarn bases, alternating airy stocking stitch with openwork bands that draw in each side of the scarf emphasizing the ruching effect.
There are three colour stylings shown: Harmonizing, Tonal and Contrasting, each worked with one of three different finishing options that are described in the pattern. The addition of a tailored option to the pattern, makes this a good choice for men or women.
Length can be customized by adding or removing sections of the pattern. This will change your yarn requirements.
You’ll need one skein of the main colour for the tailored scarf and two skeins for either of the fluted versions. All versions require one skein or less of the contrast colour.
