Les Madeleines Cardi has a romantic and refined style that harks back to other times.
It is a patterns in two colors, the lighter yoke is entirely decorated with a refined cable stitch.
After the yoke we change to a darker shade of color for the body and sleeves.
The cardigan is worked back and forth from the top down with a circular yoke, gradual increases are made in the yoke until you reach the sleeves which will be put on hold on a stitch holder or waste yarn and then picked up later.
To make it easier to read the pattern, a single chart is followed in the yoke and the increases are “camouflaged” in the design.
This way there will be no seams. Sleeves are worked in rounds.
In this pattern, at the end of the knitting, we give some indications for finishing and embellishing the garment with a delicate floral embroidery.
You can follow our instructions or give vent to your creativity and personalize the embroidery making your garment unique and precious
Les Madeleines Cardi comes in 10 sizes (from 85 to 177 cm 33.4 to 69.6 “ bust circumference).
The size guide and the table on PDF will help you choose the fit you prefer.
We used two yarns together, a merino thread plus a mohair and silk thread and the result is a warm, voluminous, soft and elegant-looking mix.

Circular needles 3.5 and 4.5 mm / US 4 and 7
(cables 40, 60 and 100 cm 16, 24 and 40“ )
Cast on the neck with the shorter cable and then switch to the longer cable as you increase stitches. Use 60 cm 24” for sleeves and 100 40” for body.

Il golfino Les Madeleines ha uno stile romantico ed elegante che rimanda ad altri tempi.
È un modello in due colori, lo sprone, più chiaro, è interamente decorato con una raffinata lavorazione a piccole treccine.
Dopo lo sprone si passa ad una tonalità di colore più scura per il corpo e per le maniche.
Questo modello è lavorato in piano dall’alto verso il basso con sprone rotondo, si eseguono degli aumenti graduali nello sprone fino ad arrivare alle maniche che verranno messe in sospeso su un filo per poi essere riprese successivamente. Per facilitare la lettura del modello nello sprone si segue un unico schema e gli aumenti sono “mimetizzati” nel disegno.
Le maniche , riprese successivamente, sono lavorate in tondo.
Con questo metodo non ci sono cuciture.
In questo modello, al termine della lavorazione a maglia, diamo alcune indicazione per rifinire e impreziosire il capo con un delicato ricamo floreale.
Potete seguire le nostre indicazioni oppure potere dare sfogo alla vostra creatività e personalizzare il ricamo rendendo il vostro capo unico e prezioso.
Nel pattern sono disponibili 10 taglie da 85 a 177 cm di circonferenza busto, la guida alle taglie e la tabella nel PDF ti aiuteranno a scegliere la vestibilitá che preferisci.
Abbiamo usato insieme due filati, un filo di merino più un filo di mohair e seta e il risultato è un mix caldo, voluminoso, soffice e dall’aspetto elegante.

Ferri circolari 3.5 e 4.5 mm.
(cavi 40, 60 e 100 cm)
Inizia dal collo con il cavo più corto e poi aumentalo gradualmente mano a mano che aumenti le maglie. Usa il cavo da 60 per le maniche e il cavo da 100 per il corpo.
