This wrap was inspired by Sutton’s best kept secret Les Marmites des Sorcières ( the Sorcerer’s Cauldron) a beautiful watering hole that is tucked in between the mountain where a small river creates basins amongst the boulders which are a delight to dip in on a hot summer’s day.

This wrap starts off with a circular motif that will be the central motif of the wrap. Once the centre motif is completed, each side is worked separately. The centre motif will be off centre for an asymmetrical design. Each side is squared off to create a rectangular shawl.

MATERIALS
Version 1: Color A: 4 skeins of Amelie by Illimani (shown in grey) or 600 yards of wor-sted / aran weight yarn & Color B: 2 skeins of Spincycle Yarns Dream State (shown in Midsommar) or 300 yds of worsted weight yarn
Version 2: Color A: 3 skeins of Leizu DK by Julie Asselin (shown in Rose Gold) or 600 yards of worsted / aran weight yarn & Color B: 2 skeins of Spincycle Yarns Dream State (shown in Heliotrope) or 300 yds of worsted weight yarn

NEEDLE
Circular Needle Size 5.00mm (8 US) circular needle in 32” length for use with magic loop, alternatively, varying lengths can be used as appropriate to the circumference
Optional: DPNs may be used at the beginning

GAUGE
15 sts x 21 rows= 10cm in stockinette

Cette étole commence par le centre du motif des marmites. Une fois le motif central complété, on tricote chaque côté séparément. Chaque côté est équarrit pour crée une étole rectangulaire
