Leslie Anne Hat
The Leslie Anne hat is the perfect fall and winter slouchy newsboy hat! The main body of the hat is knit in the round from the rib up to a modified slouchy rib. A quick center decrease at the top is perfect for those who want to add on a pom-pom. The newsboy bill is picked up from the cast-on edge and is worked gradually around to sit just near the ears. The bill is finished off with an easy-to-work applied i-cord bind off to keep the bill from rolling up. The Leslie Anne hat is a fun, yet functional, hat that comes in a child size and two adult sizes. The hat is named after my mother and reminds me of how much she loved to try on hats of all sorts and shapes.
