Chester is Lester the Leicester’s crocheted little brother. He was created for Houston Fiberfest for their “year of crochet” 2018 show.

Gauge is not important, other than to make sure your stuffing doesn’t show. He uses several different colors of yarn with various yardage. I used about 2/3 of a pound of RHSS for the body, approximately 1/2 a regular skein for the hat and boots, and scraps for the hat band.

The head is attached to the hat, but can just as easily be made separately and then seamed.
