This hairclip introduces a new stitch : Work around stitch. With this stitch you will crochet the base directly onto a 3/4” by 1/2” hairclip base. The curls are crocheted directly onto the main part and the star is worked separately and then glued on.

To create this hairclip I used a small amount each of Aunt Lydia’s Classic 10 crochet thread, color #001/White; #494/Victory Red; and #487/Royal Blue.
