Be captivated by the ease of this process as you knit this breezy, lightweight drop stitch scarf.

The scarf is approximately 5” x 80” long, which allows you to wear it any number of ways. It is knit flat from end-to-end. Convert the scarf into a lovely wrap by increasing the number of stitches cast on and adding more yarn. Make it an infinity cowl by stitching the ends together or a moebius by twisting one end 180 degrees before stitching the ends together. Or try a modified three-needle bind off.

It’s a perfect project to knit and wear in the warmer months or to block the chill of too-cool air-conditioned spaces. Quick and easy, it’s a perfect project for knitters of any skill level.

The scarf is great, but if you would rather wear it as cowl, simply stitch the ends together and violá, you have a cowl!

Materials
2 skeins (approximately 125 yards each) of Classic Elite Yarns, Santorini
(42% Cotton, 58% Viscose). 1 skein for a shorter cowl.
Size 8 knitting needles, in any comfortable length. Yarn needle.

I prefer TOHO brand seed beads, available through Bobby Bead in Minneapolis at: bobbybead.com, where you will find an extensive selection of colors. The sample shows a mix I made of 5 different colors, randomly strung. Have fun creating your own mixes!
Approximately 600 (40 grams) of TOHO 6/0 round seed beads are used in each scarf or cowl pattern.
