Let it Roll! Scarflette
I am naming this pattern “Let it Roll,” because that’s what stockinette wants to do. I have fought curling edges forever, and I decided to let them do what they naturally want to do. The edges turn under only slightly after blocking, giving this piece a charming, feminine look. You can work more of the stranded for a larger neck opening, allowing the piece (I am writing “piece” because I don’t really know how to categorize this one. Not really a collar or a cowl!) to hang lower in the front. We had fun working this as our March 2014 MAL. Thanks for modeling. Melissa Shawcross! Keri, in my group, came up with Scarflette, and yes, that’s what it is!
