These fun top-down socks use simple slip-stitches to create columns on the front and sides of the socks. Perfect for half skeins and leftovers from other pairs. You can knit the cuffs, heels, and toes in the same yarns as the rest of the sock or mix in additional colors. The sample pair uses a third color to create a contrasting heel, while using the two main yarns for the cuffs and toes.

This is more of a sock recipe than an extensive step-by-step pattern. Written and charted instructions are included for the stitch pattern on the front of the sock.

PLEASE NOTE: Heel instructions are not included so you may choose your preferred heel pattern for this part of your sock. My sample used a paid short row pattern.

A Note about Sizing: Instructions are for a 60 stitch sock. Additional stitches may be added equally before and after the chart for a larger circumference.
