Project Description: Smiles are contagious! You have to love the warm glow from this joyful, cold fellow as he revels in the embroidered falling snow! He is such a stylish snowman in his hand knit scarf. This fun accent pillow cover is the perfect way to celebrate the Season! The snowman pillow cover buttons in the back to cover a 12” x 12” pillow form. This project is knit flat and seamed.

Finished Measurements: 12” x 12” blocked. Note: size can be increased by adding 4 -5 stitches for each additional inch in width desired to the number of stitches cast on and by adding 6 rows to the length for each additional inch.

Materials and Equipment: Needles: US Size 8 (5 mm); US Size 7 (4.0 mm) dpns for snowman’s arms & scarf. Yarn: Shown in Stonehedge Fiber Mill Shepherd’s Wool Worsted, 100% Merino 4 oz (113 g), 250 yds (229 m) in colors light turquoise, white, creamsicle, granite, and red; darning needle, four 5/8”- 1” buttons (shown in Buttons Galore & More Holiday Collection), 12” x 12” pillow form, optional: Clover 2 ½” pom-pom maker.

Gauge: After blocking, 18 sts x 25 sts in 4” (10 cm) with US Size 8 in Stockinette Stitch. To save time take time to check gauge.
