These little sweetheart (thumbless) mittens will keep tiny hands warm and toasty. Knit them with fingering or baby yarn and a strand of angora or alpaca. They will be soft and light for baby.

Pick two colors that will contrast well and use #1 needles for newborns and #2 needles for a slightly larger mitten that will fit older infants. This is a great project to use up your leftover stash yarn!

They would make a cute topper on a baby gift tied on with ribbons OR hang them on the Christmas tree when baby outgrows them!
