Let Your Light Shine with Beads

Having fun with textures.
It’s a perfect project to knit and wear in the warmer months or to block the chill of too-cool air-conditioned spaces. Quick and easy to knit, it’s a great project for knitters of any skill level. Enjoy!

Information
The scarf is approximately 5” x 76” long, which allows you to wear it any number of ways. It is knit flat from end to end, on the diagonal, alternating both yarns throughout the rows. Both strands are carried along the edge, so there are minimal ends to weave in.

Convert the scarf into a lovely wrap by increasing the number of stitches cast on and adding more yarn. Make it an infinity cowl by stitching the ends together. When switching between yarns, be sure to position the color to be used so that the unused color is caught and carried at the start of the new row.

Add beads with two options.
Be sure to download both patterns:)

Recommended beads: TOHO 6/0 round seed beads. Approximately 1200. 80 grams. 4 packages.
Beads are available at your LYSs and Bobby Bead.

Have fun mixing these textures! Try adding beads! It’s easy!

You may use any dk weight cotton and a novelty yarn that is thin and string-like.
