• Tinsel yarn or other yarn for your border
• Crochet hook to suit your yarn (I used 4mm)
• Darning needle
• Scissors
• Measuring tape

Stitches/techniques:

• Slip knot onto hook
• Making a chain
• Half double crochet (HDC)
• Slip stitch (Sl. st.)
• Weaving in ends
• Sewing parts together
