This was so much fun to design! I probably got too carried away with this one, but oh well. I wanted to make a design for 3 colors. But maybe there should be a version that would work with only 2 colors, right? Well what about the people who like the one skein shawls? Do you see what happens to me? So, here we are… Anyway, with there being 3 distinct versions, I decided to post them all separately to make it easier, but also make a “Let’s Run Away” eBook with all of them together. You can just get the one you want or get all of them at a discounted price in the eBook!

This is the one skein version of course. It is written for the larger 460 yard skeins of light fingering weight yarn and I used just over 430 yards. If you wanted to use a 400 yard skein, you could probably just go down a needle size and be fine. I have not tested this though, so it is a guess. Further adjustments can be made by adding or decreasing garter rows at the end as well.

460 yards - 60” x 12”

K2 Together
Purl
Slip
SSK

Pin blocking isn’t necessary, but if you choose to, it will open up your lace stitching more and you can pin it into the desired shape.
