Letters To Juliet Blanket
I was looking for a blanket to make, I didn’t want chevrons, I didn’t want pieces to sew together and I didn’t want a ton of ends to weave in, so I decided to make up a pattern myself.
Behold! A reversible blanket covered in hugs and kisses!
I affectionately call this “Letters to Juliet”, because, well, it’s letters I imagine would have been sent to Juliet (though I doubt x’s and o’s were used in Shakespearian days, but lets not get technical, shall we).
This beautiful cabling pattern uses no post stitches, just creative use of working behind and in front of stitches. Perfect for an adventurous beginner! The easy to memorize repeating pattern allows you to step away from the pattern and have one less thing to keep up with while working up the blanket (because moms with kids know that the fewer things to handle the better off every one’s sanity remains).
Pattern include pro-quality photo tutorial to guide you along the way and I’m always an email away if you need help as well.
This lovely blanket can be made into any size you desire. As a matter of fact, I didn’t even include stitch count at the end of the row for that very reason. The multiple + repeat is included, just make it to the size you feel it needs to be.
Happy Hooking!
