Lettice Burroughs
From Alan’s website:
Stop rabbiting on - there’s a bunny to knit!
The second design in the Cumbrian Characters collection, Lettice Burroughs is a mother rabbit, who is kept busy collecting tasty leaves that grow in the fields around her home so she can feed her ever-growing family. In the spring dandelions are particularly succulent and plentiful, so here she is seen with an overflowing trug basket on her way back to the warren to prepare supper. Lettice’s underskirt has an embroidered rosebud design, but if you prefer to leave it plain you can simply ignore the embroidery instructions, and you can choose alternative shades for the clothes if you would like to have a different colour scheme.
