The idea behind the Kristina Mitt design is to combine traditional craft with needs of urban outdoorsy lifestyle, and the ever most Norwegian inclination to “gå på tur”, to go for a walk even in bad weather.

Using less than a skein total of sporting weight wool yarn (approx 30g of main colour, 10g of contrast colour) for the ladies’ medium size, Kristina Mitts is a good stash-busting project. Similar yardage alpaca can also be used, for softer, but slightly smaller mitts.
