NAME ‘LEURA’
This beanie’s namesake, Leura, is the trendiest town in the Blue Mountains. Leura has a unique mix of shops (including inspiring fashion boutiques, craft coops and the most amazing chocolate shop!), eclectic galleries, stunning gardens and yummy tearooms, as well as some beautiful scenery. With a main street lined with beautiful cherry blossom trees this is the place to be on the Mountains and where you and your stylish beret would immediately fit in!

SIZES
This knitting pattern has been designed to fit sizes: Newborn (14”/36cm circumference) , Baby - 6 months (16”/41cm circumference), Toddler (18”/46cm circumference) Child/Teenager (20”/51cm Circumference), Small Adult (22”/ 56cm Circumference), and Large Adult (24”/61cm Circumference).

FINISHED MEASUREMENTS
Unstretched Circumference of Beanie:
12”/ 30.5cm (14”/35.5cm, 16”/40.5cm, 18”/46cm, 20”/51cm, 22”/56cm)

Hat Depth from Brim to Crown:
4.5”/11.5cm (5”/13cm, 5.5”/14cm, 7.5”/19cm, 8.5”/21.5cm, 9.5”/24cm)

GAUGE
12sts and 18 rows to a 4”/10cm by 4”/10cm square over stocking stitch using 8.00mm/US11 needles.

MATERIALS

• Newborn 50m/55yds (Baby 60m/66yds, Toddler 70m/77yds, Child/Teen 80m/87yds, Small Adult 90m/98yds, Large Adult 110m/120yds) of 14ply or Super Bulky yarn. The beanies pictured are knitted in Australian wool.
• 6.50mm/US10.5 circular with 60cm cable or double pointed needles.
• 8.00mm/US11 circular with 60cm cable or double pointed needles.
• Stitch Marker.
• Wool Needle.
