The bag is worked bottom up, with a special cast on that allows to work in the round to create an oval. A twisted knit pattern decorates the body of the bag, making it perfect for every day life or as project bag. The handle is sewn with a decorative stitch.

Yarn: Leva, by Emma Fassio, 100% Linen, 100 grams, 150 meters
2 skeins

Guage: 20 sts x 22 rows in 10x10 cm in stockinette stitch
Needles: 2 circular knitting needles with 4,5 mm points; one 80 cm cable and another one of any size
Notions: 1 stitch marker (m), tapestry needle to weave in ends, bag handle and fabric for lining if desired (about 20 cm x 150 cm)

k - knit; p - purl; kfb - knit front back; k2tg - knit 2 together; ssk - slip slip knit; RT (right twist): knit 2 stitches together without letting them fall from needles, then knit 1 on the first stitch on needle, let the stitches fall from needles; LT (left twist): slip 1 stitch knitwise, slip 1 stitch knitwise, replace both sts on left needle, from right to left, knit 1 on first stitch on left needle (the one that remains in the back afterwards) and then we knit together the 2 sts; (there are video tutorials on my YouTube)

E’ una borsa lavorata dal basso verso l’alto, con un avvio particolare che permette di lavorare in tondo per creare la base ovale. Un motivo particolare decora il corpo della borsa, che è perfetta per tutti i giorni o come borsa porta progetto. Il manico è cucito sui margini laterali con lo stesso filo della borsa.
