Warm and cute booties worked in rib-pattern. The rib-structure is elastic for booties to be used a long time for a growing baby, and tie-band at ankle helps to keep a steady fit on tiny feet.
Work booties from sole up. Cast on sts for sole and work back and forth with inc, cont rib-pattern back and forth with turnings over sts for the instep .
Join work when upper part is finished and work ribbing in rnds with eyelets for cord.
Sew tog under sole, twist cord for tie-band and pass through eyelet rnd.
